Biography
AUTIST formed in early 2005 when drummer Philippe and guitarist Maurice
(who had been playing together for almost a year at that time)
were joined by bassist Alex and singer Wlad ; the line up being
complete, the band started working on material with the aim
of recording it's first demo in order to promote the band and
find gigs to play...
During summer 2005, AUTIST started the actual recording of it's demo
ep "Evil Reach Us Not", engineered by Nicolas Bonavita (from Paris
emocore band MY SEVERED PIECES), which would not be released
until december 2005 due to line up changes, Maurice having left the
band before being replaced by Vahloo despite being what is
called a "young" band, AUTIST has opened for various
french and foreign acts such as INSIDE ME (Spain), SPASM (France),
CRIME IN STEREO (U.S.A.) or CHEMICAL VOCATION (Sweden),
will play as local support for the "Grind Your Face Off" tour featuring ROTTEN SOUND (Finland) and SAYYADINA (Sweden) and is currently looking for
shows to play before february, before taking a break to work on new material
for forthcoming recordings... |
